Hello, I’m Katrin, a qualified counsellor based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Thank you for being here.
Life brings change, challenges, and new beginnings. Along the way, we may second-guess ourselves, struggle in our relationships, feel overwhelmed by everyday demands, or carry things that others cannot always see. We might question old assumptions or wonder where we fit and who we are becoming.
I work in a neurodiversity-affirming way with adults and young people, offering a warm and welcoming space where you can be yourself and explore what’s on your mind.
Looking for a therapist can feel like a big step, and I’d love to explore working with you.

I offer relaxed, collaborative therapy, supporting you in navigating anxiety, low mood, neurodiversity (including autism, ADHD, and AuDHD), relationship difficulties, feeling stuck, low confidence, grief and loss, life transitions, and questions of identity and meaning.

A space to be heard

There are times when we need somewhere to bring the thoughts, feelings, questions, and experiences that have become difficult to carry alone.
Therapy offers a calm, confidential space to talk openly about what’s been happening in your life and explore what feels important to you.
Together, we can make sense of your experiences and consider what you need as you move forward.
A way forward

When life feels uncertain, therapy can offer space to pause and reflect. Together, we can explore what may be getting in the way, and find direction when things feel unclear.
Support is available online, by phone, or through walk-and-talk sessions in Leazes Park, on weekdays and some evenings.
