Accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, or attending an initial consultation does not create a counselling relationship. A counselling relationship begins only when we mutually agree to work together and the appropriate counselling agreement has been completed.
Emergency Support
Warm and Friendly Counselling is not a crisis or emergency service.
This website is not monitored at all times. If you require urgent support or are at immediate risk of harm, please contact Emergency Services on 999, NHS 111, your GP, or Samaritans on 116 123.
Counselling Services
Warm and Friendly Counselling provides therapy and counselling for adults and young people aged 16 and over.
Services may be offered online, by telephone, or as walk-and-talk sessions, subject to suitability and availability.
Before counselling begins, information about fees, appointments, cancellations, confidentiality, safeguarding, and professional practice will be provided within the counselling agreement.
If I believe your needs would be better supported by another service or specialist, I may discuss alternative options or referrals to help you access the most appropriate support.
Safeguarding
Warm and Friendly Counselling is committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of clients and others who may be affected by their circumstances.
While counselling is confidential, there may be occasions where action needs to be taken to protect a client or another person from serious harm, or where safeguarding responsibilities require information to be shared with appropriate services or authorities.
Where appropriate and possible, this will be discussed with you beforehand.
